Support of Mini Projects Program

Aligned with our mission to empower entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, the “Mini Projects Program” supports Saudi women to establish small projects and businesses. The Program provides interest free loans with easy repayment terms to help women get their ideas off the ground and become financially independent.

Aims of the Program

  1. To increase family income by investing in social and human elements that exist within each family;
  2. To create viable internal employment opportunities for needy households in their particular environment;
  3.  To develop a more productive society that contributes efficiently to the economic cycle of the Kingdom;
  4. To diversify sources of income within the family to meet increasing social needs and economic demands placed upon its kin.

Terms and Conditions required by the Program

  1. Must be a Saudi national. 
  2. Aged between 18 and 55.
  3. Supervising party to monitor work.
  4. Full consent to be provided by husband or guardian.

Loan Description

  1. Average loan between SR 1,000 – 5,000 per individual.
  2. Period of loan investment from 7-10 months.
  3. Installment repayments commence two weeks from the date of receiving the loan for the first three phases, then monthly during the last phases.
  4. Guarantor required.

Fields of Families' Projects

Acceptable fields include handicraft and similar works that can be self-sustaining by the families, such as:

  1. Preparation of foods and sweets.
  2. Decorative works and floral arrangements.
  3. Traditional handmade products.
  4. Leather and artistic goods. 
  5. Any project presented by the applicant and subsequently approved.
